Shaykh Saifullah Muhammad was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he memorized the Holy Quran as well studied his secular studies. He then went on to do his Bachelors's Degree in Islamic studies at the international University of Al Hasanain In Pakistan. He specialized in Quranic sciences with Ijazah from one of the Imam's of Masjid Quba, as well as Hanafi and Shafi Fiqh with multiple scholars from around the world. He also served as Imam and Instructor at Madina Institute which is an Islamic Seminary with branches in over 10 countries.

He recently moved to Minnesota to serve as the Resident Scholar at NWICC. He is also continuing his education at Bayan Islamic Graduate school where he is doing his Masters in Divinity (MDiv) with a focus in Islamic Chaplaincy.
